Porsche is set to lift the wraps off a coupe version of its 918 Spyder next week at the Detroit show. The 918 Spyder hybrid, which made its debut last year as a concept in Geneva, is set for a limited production run, but according to reports, Porsche may be aiming for a different tack with the coupe.
Though based on the same platform as the hybrid, the reports suggest that insiders say that the coupe will be a concept race car equipped with a 600 hp V8 block, and that it isn’t slated for serial production. The debutant’s suggested power output isn’t that far ahead of the 918 Spyder hybrid’s V8, which develops 493 hp (and with the 215 hp from the electric motors on both the front and rear axle, a total combined 708 hp), but it would certainly be lighter for the supposed task at hand – we’ll know for sure next week.

Some of the hotest cars of 2010 enjoy it...
Lamborghini Siesto Elemento

The Lamborghini Siesto Elemento is an expression of the manufacturer’s global role in leading with the newest technology of carbon-fiber reinforced plastics (CFRP). With a weight of 999 kg, including the 5.2 L V10 engine and permanent all-wheel drive, a decrease in fuel consumption and carbon dioxide emission is definitely observed. Lighter cars improve the power-to-weight ratio, and in this case 1.75 kg/hp, resulting in a more outstanding and dynamic performance. The design uses one of the newest applications in science—nano-technology. This technology allows a full-bodied surface, and the shimmering red crystals.
The perfectly located spoiler and diffuser, and the Pyrosilic tapes lead to optimum aerodynamics. It has become the Superman of sports cars because of its vast output of 570 hp, superior grip and stability of the permanent all-wheel drive, and a sensitive and highly revving V10 power unit. These six features or elements give the drivers a different driving experience in Lamborghini
2010 Lotus Elite Prototype

The arrival of the 2010 Lotus Elite comes from integrating the newest technological developments of Lotus with the imaginative and playful elegance in design. Its body is compact yet still has a superb and graceful unassuming modern classic look. It is a perfect example of ironies in sports cars. Its light weight of 1650 kg is fit for racing yet it still guarantees the compactness of the vehicle. Its V8 cylinder engine with a capacity of five liters allows a dynamic high-performance, yet shows a low emission of carbon dioxide, roughly only 215 g/km of CO2.
The power has also an integrated energy recovery system stirring up 612 hp and 720 Nm of torque. It can accelerate to 100 km in an average of 3.6 seconds, with the top speed at 315 km/h. Lotus has planned and developed more technologies that are utilized in the Elite; examples of which are the hybrid technology with KERS and the slick retractable hard top version in Lotus.
2010 Peugeot EX1 Concept

Dubbed as a car of the future, the 2010 Peugeot EX1 is completely powered by electricity. With a mishmash of modern artistry and original style, the EX1 is designed to provide powerful driving impressions to celebrate the 200 years of adventure of Peugeot. The design of EX1 is based on the concept of a water droplet, having the rear section constructed closely to the rear wheels. This shape enables the reduction of the passenger compartment. And adding the fact that it is manufactured from carbon/honeycomb composite, a more favorable distribution of weight is observed.
The source of power is electric motor, one on each axle with a maximum output of 125 kW and torque of 240 Nm. A sophisticated yet futuristic way of entering the vehicle is done through a reverse-opening door. The driving experience provides an opportunity to similarly handle an aircraft since there are two control handles. The design never compromises the performance. As a matter of fact, EX1 has broken six world acceleration records, one of which showed that it travelled a mile for only 41.09 seconds in Peugeot
2011 BTR-II 650 EVO Porsche 997

Only BTR-II 650 EVO, the latest from speedART, has an imposed PDK gearbox in Porsche models making it an exceptionally powerful auto.
This bi-turbo racer has an engine with 650 hp and a torque of 900 Nm. This high spec is the reason for a reinforced PDK gearbox.
BTR-II 650 EVO will sprint from 0 to 200 kph in 9 seconds and has a top speed of 335 kph. The boost in power was due primarily to the tuned up motronic and larger VTG-turbo chargers. That is supplemented by sport exhaust and a duo of tail pipes. Heat dissipation is made better with larger intercoolers.
For added down force, the Evolution body kit includes gun-metal frames for the front bumper and movable rear wing for the rear spoiler. The new bumper design also helps for enhanced brake cooling. BTR-II body kit also consists of newly designed side skirts and rear diffuser in Porsche.
2010 Renault DeZir

DeZir marks the dawn of a series of cars that will be the foundation for the design and style of future cars. It is an expression of the company’s vision—simple, sensuous and warm. It is environmentally-friendly because it is 100% powered by electricity. Its front end exhibits a full-width air-intake and the chrome finish of the diamond contrasts of the grille both honor the Renault logo. The lightness of the interior is inspired from a romantic encounter, thus, a splash of white leather calmed with red lacquered accessories. A dashboard, which uses graphics similar to video games, allows the driver to see the real-time signal of the energy supply.

The lithium-ion battery, located behind the bench seat, provides an upgraded power of 150 hp and a torque of 226 Nm. The body is made from Kevlar®, thus minimizing the weight. A double wishbone arrangement is observed in the suspension, providing a high standard precision in handling. The full underbody fairing and a rear diffuser improve the aerodynamics of DeZir in Renault.

Don't be shock to see the pictures below. There are people who don't get enough of what they have. They want some thing bigger and this is what they produce.Maybe it looks insane but it sure does work.
Here are the top 10 longest super stretch limousines in the world ever. All of them are so long that they can hardly turn around sharp corners. The longest of these super stretch limousines can actually bend in the middle to help them turn.
Starting out light, we have three rather normal looking stretch limousines. Nothing special here, they are just a bit longer than your average stretch limousine.

Add an extra set of wheels and some more length, and voila, your limousine looks a lot more impressive.

You can add even more wheels if you want to be totally sure you can’t turn around sharp corners.

Finally, you can go totally crazy and buy a stretch limousine so long that it needs to be able to bend. The first one is built like a pickup with a very long trailer for the passengers, the other two can bend in the middle!

The last limousine is actually the longest super stretch limousine in the world. Total length is 100 feet (more than 30 meters). It has 26 tires, room for a lot of passengers, a heated Jacuzzi, sun deck, swimming pool, a few beds and… a helipad!

Check out the picture above to see the helipad at the very end of the world’s longest super stretch limousine.
Since you have been seeing limousine from all around the world, why not look at our local(malaysia) limousines....it's very rare and hard to find in Malaysian roads but we managed to capture some photographs of them.

Ferrari is not about to miss out on the action in Paris. The company has released initial images that depict the SA APERTA 599 roadster, which is pretty much a drop-top version of the 599. The limited edition roadster is motivated by the familiar 6.0 liter mouth-watering V12 engine that pumps out 661hp and 620Nm of torque. This is the same engine used in the 599 GTO.

Only 80 units of the roadster will be put into production and rumor has it that all 80 have been pre-sold. Why 80 units you might ask? Well thats because this car pays tribute to Ferrari’s favorite designer Pininfarina. It is Pininfarina’s 80th anniversary and the “SA” designation pays homage to both Sergio Pininfarina and son Andrea who passed away in 2008 following an accident while riding a Vespa.

The SA APERTA uses a removable light soft top “designed to be resorted to only if the weather gets particularly bad”. Other features include a low-slung windscreen, two roll bars that mimic the outline of the seats as well as a stiffened chassis. Ferrari also said that the SA APERTA has a “negligible weight difference” compared to the hard top 599. More details and images will be released once the roadster hits the stands at the Paris Motor Show.
You can view high-res initial images after the jump.

Proton has launch it's latest model,Proton Inspira.Like it's name,it is inspired by the latest mitsubishi lancer. It is produced in three variants.

At a glance, there’s almost zero difference between the Inspira and Lancer save for Proton’s unique front end design, which is of a V-shape as opposed to Mitsubishi’s trademark trapezoidal “jet fighter” grille. Besides the obvious fact that the change is needed to differentiate the cars, Proton deliberately wanted to move away from the Lancer “too aggressive” look, according to the engineers.

At the rear, you’ll find 2.0 P or 1.8 E to mark the variants, the latter available in both manual and CVT versions. As mentioned in our preview drive, P stands for Premium and E stands for Executive in Proton’s new naming scheme, P being the higher spec. There’s a chrome strip at the bottom edge of the boot, like on the Lancer EX. The Proton’s bumper is unique as it has a black painted “diffuser style” design, as opposed to the straightforward item on the Lancer. The reflectors sit within the black area.
Like the Lancer EX, the Inspira wears 16-inch wheels with 205/60 rubber. With the Proton, you get unique Continental Comfort Contact CC5 tyres with compounds that were specifically developed for the car. The rim design looks much better without the black disguise tape on the pre-production cars. Suspension tuning also differs from the Lancer, as detailed in two rounds of preview tests we did. Click here and here to read them.

Inside, the differences are minimal. The three-spoke steering design has a Proton badge of course, and the instruments look the same. However, we just noticed that the “left speedo, right tacho” layout of the Lancer has been reversed for the Inspira, which has its rev meter on the left side. The multi-info screen is the orange one as per the Lancer sedan, not the full colour version on the Lancer Sportback. The wood trim in the P spec Inspiras are dark brown coloured (Lancer EX has greyish wood) while the 1.8 E gets a matte silver trim that’s nice to touch. All else is identical to these eyes, including the grade of plastics.

The 4B10 1.8 litre pot found on the two Executive variants offers 140 hp at 6,000rpm and 177 Nm at 4,250rpm, while the 4B11 2.0 litre block in the Premium has 150 hp and 197 Nm at the same rpm as above. Performance-wise, the 1.8 manual has a claimed top speed of 202 kph and a 0-100 kph sprint time of 10.0 secs, while that of the 1.8 CVT is 191 kph and 11.4 secs. As for the 2.0 Premium, it gets to 198 kph and does the century sprint in 10.5 secs. As for kerb weight, the manual rolls in at 1,300 kg, while the 1.8 CVT and 2.0 P are 1,325 kg and 1,335 kg respectively.
Four colours are available for the Inspira, and these are Plum Red, Solid White, Genetic Silver and Tranquility Black. In terms of specifications and equipment levels, the Inspira gets a fair bit of kit, though the 2.0 Premium version does naturally get more in the way of added gear.
Nonetheless, all three variants come with dual SRS airbags, leather steering wheel, front pre-tensioner seatbelts, ABS with EBD, immobiliser and alarm system, central door locking, Isofix point, reverse sensor, solar and security tinted film and steering wheel-mounted audio controls.
Other items on the features list across the board are trunk lid remote release, front fog lamps, welcome home light system, driver’s side anti-trap/auto up-down power window, height adjustable driver’s seat and a MP3/Bluetooth-enabled CD player audio system with Arkamys 3D DSP.
As befits its Premium suffix, the Inspira 2.0 gets a number of differentiation points and features compared to the two 1.8 Executive models, and these are:
Cruise control (with steering wheel-mounted switches)
Column-mounted paddle shift controls
Automatic climate control
Auto headlamp and rain sensors.
Body kit and rear spoiler.
Leather seats and door trim finishing (the 1.8 versions are in fabric)
A GPS navigation system.
